Generation 1: Willm Jas Lagdon (b. about 1831 in Romford, Essex, England) married Eliza Miller (b. about 1841 in Lamarsh, Suffolk, England). They had six children:

Generation 3: Harry B. Lagdon (b. about 1904 in New York) married Alice E. (b. about 1904 in Maine). They had:

Richard Harry Lagdon Obituary

 

LAGDON Graveside - services for LCDR Ret., Richard Harry Lagdon, 74, will be held 9:30AM Thursday December 8, 2005 at JACKSONVILLE MEMORY GARDENS CEMETERY 111 Blanding Blvd. Orange Park, Florida with Father Adams officiating, followed by full military honors. A memorial service for Mr. Lagdon will be held at 11AM December 8, 2005 at St. Michael and All Angles Anglican Church 5041 Lakeshore Drive West Orange Park, Florida with Father Adams officiating. Mr. Lagdon was very devoted to his church the St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church where he was the Senior Warden to the Priest, an active lay reader, and he tended to church grounds. He was an active member of the Elks Lodge. Mr. Lagdon served his country proudly retiring after 27 years of dedicated service from the United States Navy.


Mr. Lagdon is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Retta Lagdon; two daughters, Susan Patricia Blake and Barbara Jean Ratliff; three sons, Richard H. Lagdon, Jr., and his wife Victoria, James Andrew Lagdon and his wife Lynda, and Matthew Scott Lagdon; sister, Nancy Thayer and her husband John; five grandchildren, Michael Blinn, Jody Ratliff, Timothy Ratliff, Richard H. Lagdon, III, and Daniel John Lagdon, and many other loving family members and friends. Family requests memorials in his name be made to the St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church Building Fund 5041 Lakeshore Drive West Orange Park, Florida 32073.
